Adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH):
a) Is cleaved from pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC), a large- molecular weight precursor protein produced by the anterior pituitary.
b) Stimulates adrenal cholesterol desmolase.
c) Release from the anterior pituitary is inhibited by cortisol.
d) Stimulates steroid production in all zonae of the adrenal cortex.
e) All of the above are true.
