Answer

The answer is C. Neonates have relatively large heads that are responsible for a large portion of their oxygen consumption and heat production. The brain is responsible for about 40-50% of the neonates total heat production. This is why wrapping the neonate's head in an insulted or plastic bag can reduce the total body heat loss tremendously.[1]
