The following findings suggest high-risk in patients with pulmonary hypertension EXCEPT:

a) Tricuspid regurgitation

b) Left ventricular compression (via echocardiography)

c) Heart/lung transplantation waiting list

d) Right ventricular dilatation

e) Systolic systemic arterial pressure > half systemic pulmonary pressure

PHT is defined as PA pressure > 25 mmHg at rest (or > 30 mmHg during exertion) with a normal pulmonary wedge pressure. Definition by echocardiography is considered to be systolic PA pressure > half systolic systemic pressure. Other echo findings that suggest high-risk include tricsupid regurgitation jet > 4 m/sec, RV dilatation and LV compression.
